Statement Analysis
Does your business already accept credit cards or electronic payments? Are you looking for a change? Would you like to add a service that your current provider does not have? Have you experienced overpromising and undelivering? Here are a few things to consider:
 
 
*What's your rate?* This is listed separately because it is the most frequently asked question we receive. If a company is willing to give you a "rate" or one percentage for all cards, you WILL pay much more. To get the best possible rate, you must determine correct card type and charge types currently accepted (if already accepting cards), volume, average sale, transaction number and other fees. Always remember, it is the total you pay at the end of the month that counts, not one rate.
 
-How fast is the money being deposited into your account?
-Do you, or can you, accept all major credit cards?
-Do you have problems with your equipment?
-Are you having your deposits held in reserve?
-Does your provider defend you when you have a chargeback?
-Did you find "hidden fees" that showed up after you started processing that were not present on the original application?
-Do you sit on the telephone for an hour when trying to get some help?
-Do you pay lower fees to accept check cards (offline debit)?
-Have you had a question or concern and just gave up because you feel like you cannot get the help you need?
-Do you open your statement each month and review it?
-Do you know what you are paying?
 
-Have you stopped accepting checks because of bad checks written?
-Do you think a check processing program would cost too much to implement?
-Do you pay high bank fees for NSF and other check related fees?
-Have you wanted the ability to offer your customers a recurring payment  option or break up large payments into smaller installments?
-Would you like to eliminate trips to the bank to deposit checks?
-Has your check processor not lived up to their guarantee?
 
-Do you have a program in place, but paying high fees?
-Do you have ideas for reward programs your business can use?
-Is the quality of the printing on your cards sub-par?
-Do you think a gift card program is too expensive?
-Do your currently have a paper gift certificate program in place?
-Do you pay a lot now to advertise, but do not have a gift card program in place?
 
-Would you like to make money when your customers withdraw cash?
-Do you own an ATM now and do not get the service you need?
-Would you like to keep more of the surcharge revenue than you get now?
-Is you business in a high traffic area that you think could benefit from having an ATM?
-Would you like to have an ATM but cannot afford to purchase one outright?
 
-Do you have an interest in starting an online store, but do not know what to do?
-Are you happy with the shopping cart provider that you use, but not the processor?
-Are you unhappy with the gateway you are using?
-Do you have a shopping cart picked out or setup and cannot find a compatibile gateway or processor?
-Do you have to pay extra to use customer service or tech support for your gateway?
-Do you feel you are paying too much for processing, or need to add a service?
 
-Do you need capital for your business?
-Are you in the dreaded first to third year of your business and cannot get a loan or line of credit?
-Don't want to give up part of your business for capital?
-Cannot get a loan or credit line from the bank?
-Don't have the credit score for a loan?
-Is your bank tightining up on your line of credit?
 
-Do you have past due accounts that just will not pay?
-Have you given up on trying to get some customers to pay?
-Do you want your invoices taken care of without litigation?
-Are you too involved in the daily affairs of your business to collect past due payments?
-Would you like to get your money, but keep the good rapport in place that you have taken so long to establish with your customers?
-Do you want to get paid, but not be the "bad guy" or be know as the "lawsuit happy" business?
 
-Do you have a way to print off a compliance report now?
-Do you have a system to prove that each employee is tracked and carding?
-Can you data mine all of the license information you collect for mailers and promotions?
-Do you have a way to verify that the person who hands you their ID is really them?
-Do you have an automatic tracking method for each customer to cut down on manual log book time and ensure that the pseudoephedrine, ephedrine and phenylpropanolamine are properly tracked to avoid large fines?
 
 
-Do you offer your customers a place to purchase prepaid products at your business now?
-Would you like to make money to sell products your customers already want?
-If you have a prepaid solution in place, do you have to purchase all of your inventory up front?
-Would you like to have inventory that has no value until they checkout with you?
-Would you like to be able to recharge cards at your location as well?
